Dr. Maresky is a passionate, highly skilled dentist dedicated to providing top-quality dental care in a calm, welcoming environment. Originally from Toronto, Canada, he discovered a love for helping others early on—a calling that naturally led him to dentistry.
Dentistry runs deep in Dr. Maresky’s roots. His great-grandmother, Dr. Luba Slome, was a trailblazer in the field and has a community dental clinic in Jerusalem named in her honor. Dr. Maresky proudly carries on that legacy, delivering personalized care with a gentle touch.
He earned his Bachelor of Science from York University, followed by a Master’s in Biomedical Science from Rutgers University, and later graduated from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College. His training includes clinical rotations at St. Barnabas Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Westchester Medical Center, along with two years at Touro Dental Health Clinic where he treated diverse patient populations across all dental disciplines.
He has since worked in private practice in northern New Jersey, where Dr. Maresky is known for his caring, patient-centered approach—treating everyone like family. He’s completed advanced training in dental implants at the Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center, is certified in Invisalign and Dental Lasers, and has pursued further education in endodontics (root canals) and cosmetic dentistry.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Maresky stays on the cutting edge of dental technology and innovation. He’s also a published author in a peer-reviewed medical journal for a groundbreaking study in obstetrics and has conducted research in sleep apnea, anesthesia and pain medicine, and oral diseases. His work on periodontal (gum) disease was presented and honored at the New York Academy of Dentistry.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Maresky enjoys playing basketball, gardening, and jamming on his guitar. Most of all, he loves spending time with his wife Shira and their three wonderful children.
